Volunteers
are welcome for all of the following activities. Please contact the
coordinator or,
if none is listed, the Parish Office for details about helping provide
these programs
Coffee Socials after Mass
Every Sunday after the Liturgy, there is a social in the
Parish Hall where parishioners and visitors can meet for a hot drink and
conversation.
On certain occasions during the year,
the different cultural communities in our parish celebrate their
national holidays or special feasts --
Saint Patrick's Day in March (Irish), the Birth of Mary
in September (Indian) Thanksgiving in November (American) and the Feast of the Immaculate Conception
in December (Filipino) -- with the other members of our
parish, either during the Sunday Social or following Saturday evening
Vigil Mass. The Sunday Social coordinator is parishioner Alex Heller at
tel: (0162) 318 2562.

at St. Leonhard's hold a joint Mass followed by a barbecue in the
church courtyard.

Shorter retreats in the Frankfurt area have included trips to Limburg, the seat of
our Diocese; Kloster Eberbach in the
Rheingau region; and St. Wendel in the Saarland near Germany's western
border. In addition, one-day workshops or study and meditation sessions
are held at various times throughout the year at St. Leonhard's or at
other churches or religious facilities in Frankfurt.
