Masses are also held on special feast days throughout the year, including Christmas and
Holy Week, and weekly evening Masses take place during Lent and Advent. (See

Note that the Mass location has changed temporarily during a two-year
renovation that has closed the St. Leonhard's building through 2013 and that our English-language Liturgy currently takes

At least 4 weeks notice is required to prepare for the Sacrament and
process the necessary documents. Baptisms are usually held at the Vigil Mass on the first Saturday of the month
or by some other special arrangement.
Penance & Reconciliation

Advent; please see the Calendar page for details.
First Confession & First Communion
These sacraments for children are held yearly in May, with

initial meeting. Priority is given to regular parishioners of St.
Leonhard's English-Speaking Roman Catholic Parish (at Holy Cross) and
to those attending Mass weekly elsewhere in the Diocese of Limburg whose
household language is English.
At least six months' notice is required in advance of the wedding
for documentation and other procedural matters.
The necessary Pre-Cana
marriage-preparation course takes place annually in the Spring for
those wishing to marry in the coming year. In 2012, the two-part
course will take place on the evening of Friday, 18th May, and all day
on Saturday, 19th May at the St. Leonhard's Parish Hall; see the

Devotions
available at downtown Frankfurt churches
Vespers is conducted at Liebfrauen Church every evening after
the 6:00pm Mass followed by Benediction. Exposition of the Blessed
Sacrament for adoration is available in the small chapel
(Anbetungskapelle) in the courtyard at Liebfrauen Church during
opening hours. Liebfrauen Church is at the Liebfrauenberg square, 60311
Frankfurt (near Carolus Bookstore, just off the Zeil along the street opposite the
Kaufhof department store).
There is also Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament for
adoration at the
Dom/St. Bartholomew's Cathedral in downtown Frankfurt every
Monday through Thursday between 8:30am and 11:45am.
