General Information
Our Parish Religious Formation Program meets the spiritual needs of
both children and adults.
- Parents who present their child for baptism take part in an
instruction on the Sacrament of Baptism and thereby renew their own
commitment to their faith.
- Second Graders are prepared for the reception of the Eucharist.
Reconciliation is celebrated with children who have not yet received
this sacrament.
- Every other year, older students are given the opportunity to take
part in classes to prepare for the Sacrament of Confirmation.
Children’s Liturgy of the Word
The Children's Liturgy of the Word is celebrated concurrently with
the Sunday Liturgy. Where possible, there are two separate groups: one for children age
5 through First Communion and another for children who have celebrated
their First Communion but have not yet reached Confirmation age.
Materials are based on the Liturgy that the adults celebrate, but are
presented at an age-appropriate level. Adult and young-adult volunteers
of the parish lead the Children's Liturgy sessions.
Teachers are needed for the 2008-2009 school year starting in September.
For information on the program, or on volunteer as a teacher or
assistant, please contact coordinator
Benjie Dimauanahan at (069) 9288 6793.
First Communion

Turkey in 2003 and a day trip to Kloster Eberbach in the Rheingau area
