General Information
Our Parish Religious Formation Program meets the spiritual needs of both children and adults.
- Parents who present their child for baptism take part in an instruction on the Sacrament of Baptism and thereby renew their own commitment to their faith.
- Second Graders are prepared for the reception of the Eucharist. Reconciliation is celebrated with children who have not yet received this sacrament.
- Every other year, older students (age 14 and above) are given the opportunity to take part in classes to prepare for the Sacrament of Confirmation.

Please note that the Roman Catholic Church introduced a revised English translation of the liturgy worldwide with the start of Advent 2011. For a look at the new version of the Mass, plus a series of explanations and meditations on this change, please see the following Website page of the Archdiocese of Liverpool, England. Children’s Liturgy of the Word
The Children's Liturgy of the Word is celebrated concurrently with the Sunday Liturgy. Where possible, there are two separate groups: one for children age 5 through First Communion and another for children who have celebrated their First Communion but have not yet reached Confirmation age. Materials are based on the Liturgy that the adults celebrate, but are presented at an age-appropriate level. Adult and young-adult volunteers of the parish lead the Children's Liturgy sessions.
Teachers are needed for the 2011-2012 school year. For information on the program, or on volunteer as a teacher or assistant, please contact coordinator Benjie Dimauanahan at (069) 9288 6793.

First Communion
Each year the Sacrament of First Communion is celebrated in early May. Children who are in the second grade must attend at least 20 hours of instruction and participate in a First Communion retreat. The coordinators for the 2010-2011 program are parishioners Mark Graves, at tel. (069) 5680 7253, and Federico Geli. Please contact them after Mass, or the Parish Office at tel. (069) 283 177 during business hours, to sign your child up for the First Communion program or to volunteer as a teacher.
