There are several ways parishioners can serve in our Parish.
New members are always welcome to volunteer and may contact the
coordinators listed below for any training and scheduling details for
the following liturgical lay ministries. For details on any requirements
for a particular ministry, click on the link in the relevant section
below.
Ministry of Welcoming
Ministers of Welcoming greet people as they arrive at
the church, distribute the Breaking Bread hymn book and weekly
bulletin and direct
people to available seats. They also take up the collection and usher
worshipers to receive Holy Communion. Another opportunity to serve is
the Sunday Social after Mass.

Ministry of the Word
Ministers of the Word (Lectors) proclaim the two readings
during the Liturgy and lead the Prayers of the Faithful.

Ministry of Communion
Ministers of Communion distribute Holy Communion
(the Body and Blood of Christ) to the congregation during the Liturgy.

Ministry of Music
Music Ministers lead the singing during the Liturgy and
on special occasions. Coordinators for this
ministry

Ministry of Altar Servers
Altar Servers assist the Presider during the Liturgy. The
minimum age for volunteers is 9. Children are invited to contact the Parish Office
to volunteer as Alter Servers, and parents are welcome to volunteer as
coordinators.
Ministry of Teaching
Our Religious Formation programs prepare the children of the Parish
for the sacraments of First Communion and Confirmation, lead the
Children’s Liturgy of the Word and organize Family Masses.
The coordinator for the weekly Children's Liturgy of the Word is Benjie

2011-2012 academic year is Federico Geli.
Ministry of Hospitality
Our weekly after-Mass
socials, on both Saturdays and Sundays, offer new parishioners and
visitors to our church the chance to meet regular members of our
congregation. Volunteers in this ministry prepare the coffee, juices and
snacks before Mass and clean up the Parish Hall afterward. The
