Directions

On foot

Without a map, the easiest way to find St. Leonhard's church is to walk to the north side of the
River Main and find the Eiserner Steg pedestrian bridge.  Facing north (with the Eiserner Steg to
your back), St. Leonhard's church can be seen about 30 meters on your left. The church entrance
is around the corner.

Parking:

Use any of the many websites which can give exact direction from your house
to Saint Leonhards. (i.e. http://www.map24.de/en/ with Am Leonhardstor as the destination street)

Limited parking is available in the streets near the church. Parking is no longer allowed in the church courtyard as of May 2010. The nearest facilities for covered, off-street parking are the Am Römer parking garage (by the Dom/St. Bartholomew's Cathedral) and the Am Theater garage (near Willy-Brandt-Platz). Otherwise, use of public transport is recommended. See link at the top of this page for the VGF Frankfurt public-transport agency's Website. (Note that the link takes you away from St. Leonhard's Website.)

Note: On two or three occasions during the year (the Ironman Triathlon and the Museumsuferfest fun
fair in summer and the Frankfurt Marathon in mid-autumn), there are parking and traffic restrictions
in the area near the church, and use of public transport is particularly recommended.
See Calendar page for event details.
