Events in August 2008
Saturday, 23rd August, 10:00am-3:30pm: Obligatory training
workshop for Ministers of the Eucharist, for established ministers who
were unable to attend the June training session or for those who would
like to join the ministry, at the Parish Hall. Contact Ministry
Coordinator Nancy Clements at tel. (06102) 81 27 38 to register.
Tuesday, 26th August, 7:00pm: Parish Council meeting, in the
conference room, Caritas office.
Events in September 2008
Sunday, 7th September: Newcomer's
Network Welcome to Frankfurt festival, with St. Leonhard's providing an
information booth for newly arrived expatriates to the area, at the
Römer, downtown Frankfurt.
Sunday, 21st September, 9:30am: Mass,
followed by festival in observance of the Birth of the Virgin Mary,
hosted by the Indian community, at the Sunday Social in the Parish Hall.
Events later in 2008
Sunday, 5th October, 5:00pm:
English-language ecumenical service at Katharinenkirche, Hauptwache,
downtown Frankfurt, in honor of the city's Intercultural Weeks
celebration.
Saturday, 8th November, 9:00am: One-day retreat/Parish Day of
Recollection*
Saturday, 6th December*, 6:00pm: Celebration of the Feast of the
Immaculate Conception by the Filipino community, in the Parish Hall
following the weekly Vigil Mass.
Saturday, 13th December, 3:00pm (*starting time tentative):
Christmas concert.
